The minutes were accepted.
At the start of the year we were trying to sort out the vehicle. Eventually it was written off. We got some money back from the insurance and for scrap.
As a replacement we found a driver for weekends, charging £5 per person which we subsidise by £2 for members. Since August there have been seven trips with this vehicle.
Before we had this set up, Stuart helped out with driving as well so that for just about all the weekends when people wanted to fly we had lifts available.
We started to maintain a members' phone list so people can send round texts.
There wasn't a committee member for social events, but Roy organised a barbecue in the summer.
The Ochils round of the Scottish nationals was held at Bishop hill.
The Christmas ceilidh was successful but had a lower turnout than before. The hall is provisionally booked again for this year on 5th December.
Thanks to Peter and Sarah for help with the ceilidhs. We are sending them a thankyou gift.
For this summer Craig will be organizing a barbecue.
There's a holiday in Italy planned for June.
Collecting subscriptions was delayed this year because we wanted to wait until we knew what was happening with the vehicle.
The current system for the vehicle means that we are subsidising trips but we don't have costs like insurance etc. The treasurer recommends continuing with this system.
A low turnout for the Christmas ceilidh made it roughly break even. If we could get more people it could raise a lot of funds.
We have some stock of drinks from the ceilidh - we could run a bar at the barbecue, or give some away as prizes.
The club is now limited by guarantee. We are still looking at charity status.
It was agreed that subscriptions would stay at £30 for this year.
